Olivia (she/they) is a student at UC Davis majoring in Political Science – Public Service with a minor in Public Health. She has a strong passion for youth advocacy and creating greater access to resources and support within underserved communities. She brings this passion to her work at EMERGE, where she is able to connect her administrative experience with her interest in public health and mental health equity.

In her role as Administrative Assistant, Olivia supports the everyday needs of EMERGE through billing, data and contact management, community outreach, and other administrative responsibilities. Her role allows her to be a consistent source of support for both the practice and its therapists, taking care of essential administrative needs so they can dedicate more of their attention to their clients and the care they provide.

What Olivia values most about EMERGE is its commitment to making mental health care a welcoming and inclusive experience for youth and families from different backgrounds. As a student and woman of color, she recognizes how culture, identity, and lived experiences can shape the way young people understand and navigate their mental health. She values being part of a practice that gives young people the space to explore those experiences while receiving care that recognizes them as a whole person.
